Alumni Gathering set for Riverview Homecoming

The Oakmont and Verona Historical Societies will host an
Alumni Tent at the Riverview Homecoming football game on
Saturday October 10, 2009 at Riverside Park. All graduates of
Oakmont, Verona and Riverview High Schools are invited to stop
by the tent to view memorabilia on display from the Verona,
Oakmont and Riverview. All alumni will receive a name badge
with their name and graduation year. Prizes will be awarded for
the oldest alumni in attendance. Everyone is invited to visit
the tent and renew old high school friendships. For more

As many Verona High School alumni are aware, VHS memorabilia is in very, very short supply. Much was lost during the physical move from Verona to Oakmont. If you have any personal memorabilia....(pictures, year books, trophies, sports equipment, awards, class rings, jackets, club or letter jackets, hats, shirts, school programs, base drums, etc., etc.)…anything that you would like to share PLEASE CONTACT RHODA GEMELLAS WORF at 412-721-0943.
